Through my avian paintings and unique and unexpected titles, I attempt to juxtapose the purity of nature with the anxieties and absurdities of the modern human experience.

In addition to being a painter, I am also a published author (Penguin Random House) and designer. I own the Los Angeles-based creative company The Mincing Mockingbird with my wife, artist/designer Kim Bagwill.
